Steve Deakin is a professional pickleball player who tours Canada and the US on the Pro Pickleball tour. He wanted to develop a web site that would allow him to capitalize on his tournament success and offer instructional boot camps for pickleball players across the country.

BOOST began by choosing a colour palette of black and yellow for high contrast and relevance to the colour of the balls used in pickleball play. Each section of the site uses a different action shot of Steve, highlighting his intensity and competitiveness as a player, and creating striking visual interest for the site’s page headers.

We also needed to incorporate a gear shop that would allow sales of pickleball paddles, balls, footwear, apparel and other accessories to provide an additional revenue stream for Steve’s business.

The end result is a responsive, mobile-friendly web site built with search engine optimization and expansion in mind.

BOOST is also creating a series of designs for branded apparel that will be used to increase Steve’s brand awareness.
